Looking Back at BAU 2025

BAU 2025 – A Masterclass in Excellence

Going Digital Together: This commitment was the focal point of our participation at BAU 2025 in Munich and struck a chord with attendees. The event provided a unique opportunity to experience the seamless integration of processes, developed collaboratively with our partners for the window, door, and curtain wall construction industry. Debuting at BAU, the MES Masterclass quickly became a standout feature. It gave participants a hands-on look at daily operations with Logikal MES, our digital production control system, earning widespread acclaim.

'This is BAU, just as it should be,' said Karsten Tiemeyer, our Board Member Sales. Our team had countless valuable discussions and formed many new connections. At BAU, we shared a booth with Unilink and our partners CAD-Plan, Soft. Ing.-Team, and T.A.-Project, offering visitors direct access to expert insights on the digitalisation tools reshaping the industry.

Orgadata presented its design and calculation software, Logikal, the digital production control system Logikal MES, and SimplyTag. “The theme of our booth, ‘Going Digital Together,’ was aptly selected and resonated profoundly with our visitors,” noted Matthias Willberg, Strategic Sales. Our solutions integrate seamlessly with our partners’ products and other software through interfaces, a concept demonstrated through videos showcasing cross-product integration, live stage presentations, and, of course, direct conversations.

Visitors from over 50 nations visited our booth, highlighting BAU’s role as the leading global trade fair for the construction industry. In addition to attendees from Germany and Europe, we welcomed guests from Australia, the USA, Canada, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.

“Real Users. Honest Answers.” This was the commitment of the Logikal MES Masterclass, and it certainly fulfilled its promise. The innovative format united Logikal MES users and Orgadata’s MES experts in a seminar environment at the trade fair. A short introduction to Logikal MES set the stage for user-led discussions, who offered comprehensive insights into their experiences and the daily realities of utilising the system. There was plenty of time for engaging discussions, inquiries, and networking, which participants found highly valuable. “The MES Masterclass was an outstanding success,” remarked Robert Guller, Sales Director for Germany at Orgadata. “We’re deeply grateful to the users who candidly shared their in-depth experiences in production automation.”

The enthusiasm for automated production was also apparent at the booth. “There is widespread curiosity, sparking productive conversations regarding Logikal MES,” observed Robert Guller. Another well-received feature was SimplyTag, which enables all pertinent information to be digitally accessible for individual components. Attendees had the opportunity to experience it firsthand.

A recurring topic of conversation was Orgadata’s acquisition by Forterro, which was announced in November 2024. The regulatory approval process is currently in progress, with a favorable outcome expected in the first quarter of 2025. “The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. One notable conversation was with Valter Caiumi, Chairman of Voilàp’s Board of Directors, who congratulated Bernd Hillbrands, Marcus Pannier, and myself on this successful transaction,” shared Karsten Tiemeyer.

One of the week’s standout moments was the Orgadata booth party, which drew around 600 attendees. This lively industry gathering created the perfect setting for networking, idea exchange, and connecting in a relaxed, informal atmosphere.

Together with our partners, we look back on an incredibly successful week in Munich, where we demonstrated how seamless digitalisation drives efficiency in the window, door, and curtain wall construction industry.
